HYBE Insight & Pop-Up Exhibitions

HYBE Insight is no longer a permanent museum in Seoul. It now operates as a series of pop-up exhibitions featuring BTS and other HYBE artists.

Upcoming Pop-ups (as of Summer 2025):​

  • New York City: Jimin’s 'The Truth Untold : 전하지 못한 진심' Exhibition

    • Dates: Saturday, May 31, 2025 to Sunday, June 29, 2025

    • Location: 30 Wall St, New York, NY 10005, United States

    • This exhibition will highlight Jimin’s artistic journey behind his solo albums.

  • Seoul: j-hope’s Exhibition “AND WHAT?”

    • Dates: Friday, May 30, 2025 to Sunday, June 22, 2025

    • Location: 17F AK Plaza Hongdae (17F, 188 Yanghwa-ro, Mapo-gu, Seoul, Republic of Korea)

    • The exhibition will showcase significant milestones in j-hope’s solo journey.

Tip: Pop-up exhibitions are time-limited and ticketed separately. Always check @HYBEINSIGHTtwt (Twitter/X) for the latest updates. (Note: The HYBE INSIGHT website itself states the museum closed in Jan 2023 and directs to social media for pop-up updates.)

Seoul Events

  • FESTA: BTS’s annual debut anniversary celebration, traditionally held during the first two weeks of June. Originally a mostly virtual festival, FESTA has evolved into major in-person events, including exhibitions, performances, and pop-up experiences. The 2025 FESTA is expected to draw a large number of ARMYs to Seoul as the members complete military service.

  • Hashtags for Events: Use hashtags like #BTSinSeoul, #SeoulARMY, or #[MemberName]Birthday on Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok to discover fan-organized events.

  • Community & Local Listings: You can also check ARMY Facebook groups, K-pop cafes’ social media pages, and Seoul event listings for the latest updates on fan gatherings.

 

ARMY Tip: Most pop-up cafes ask visitors to buy at least one drink to participate. It’s an easy way to support the cafe and the fans who created the event!

 

Pop-Up Events (Fan-Organized)

  • Temporary Fan-Organized Events: During FESTA season, birthdays, or comeback dates, Seoul hosts a variety of temporary fan-organized BTS pop-up cafes, photo exhibits, art displays, and special BTS-themed experiences. Keep an eye on local hashtags and K-pop cafes’ social media to find them!​

US Fan-Organized Events and Meetups

  • Borahae Con Borahae Con is an annual BTS fan convention held in Nashville, Tennessee. The 2025 event is scheduled for Saturday, April 26, 2025. It features panels, games, cup sleeve events, and various ARMY community activities.

  • BTS ARMY MA City Meetup MA City Meetup 2025 is a fan-organized ARMY meetup event in the U.S., inspired by BTS’s “Ma City.” The 2025 meetup is scheduled for July 25-27, 2025, in Kansas City. It offers a fun-filled long weekend with costume contests, pajama party concerts, and other fan activities.
