Through the Rabbit Hole: A BTS ARMY Explorer’s Guide
Through the Rabbit Hole: A BTS ARMY Explorer’s Guide is the working title of a book I’ve been writing for almost three years. When I first started, it was meant to be a simple love letter to BTS, filled with stories from ARMYs about how BTS had touched their lives.
But as a "baby" ARMY myself, I quickly realized that writing love letters and sharing stories was already something ARMYs do beautifully every day.
As I spent more time in the fandom and became what I like to call a "preschool" ARMY, the project started to shift. It became less about just telling BTS how much we love them, and more about exploring what it really means to be part of ARMY — how we connect, how we grow, and how being a fan weaves into every part of our lives.
A fandom map for curious, thoughtful explorers.
Through the Rabbit Hole looks at fandom from all angles:
-
My personal journey into ARMY life
-
How ARMY works and what makes it so special
-
Practical tips and guides for new and seasoned fans
-
A big glossary and resource section to help ARMYs find their way
-
And a special bonus section called Bangtan Borahae — a place where ARMYs share their personal stories, poems, and messages for BTS.
Bangtan Borahae is especially close to my heart because it’s where this whole project really began — with fans wanting to say thank you in their own words.
