Being an ARMY means sharing core principles that protect both BTS and our community. These principles guide our actions and help us maintain a safe, respectful, and joyful fandom for everyone.

1. Respect Them as Artists and People.

BTS are human beings, not entertainment machines. Support their music and choices, and remember that they exist beyond our expectations.

2. Honor Their Privacy.

We allow BTS to live their lives without intrusion. This means we don’t pry into personal matters, track real-time locations, or post private information.

3. Respect Fellow ARMYs.

Every fan experiences BTS differently. We keep the fandom welcoming by honoring each other’s unique journey and avoiding gatekeeping or shaming.

4. Follow Official Guidelines.

HYBE provides official rules to protect everyone. If an action goes against those guidelines—like unauthorized recordings or disrupting events—we avoid it.

5. Avoid Sasaeng Content.

Leaked or invasive content harms BTS's privacy and safety. We don't share it; we report it and focus on official content instead.

6. Keep Online Spaces Respectful.

We keep live stream chats and comment sections free from demands, spam, or intrusive questions. If it wouldn’t be appropriate to say in person, it's better left unsaid online.

7. Think Before You Post.

Words carry weight. A thoughtful pause before posting can prevent misinformation or drama from fueling a negative ripple effect.

8. Support in Your Own Way.

There are countless ways to be an ARMY. Whether you buy albums, stream songs, or simply hold BTS in your everyday life, your support is valid and appreciated.

9. Give Proper Credit to Creators.

We respect fan artists, translators, and content creators by always crediting them, keeping watermarks intact, and asking for permission before sharing their work.

10. Steer Clear of Fan Wars.

Fandom is for enjoyment, not conflict. We can uplift BTS without tearing down other artists or fandoms.

11. Celebrate Their Korean Identity.

BTS are a Korean group. We honor and appreciate their culture and artistry, and we don't demand they conform to other cultural norms.

12. Handle Haters Wisely.

Trolls and antis thrive on attention. We protect the community by choosing to report, block, and move on rather than engaging in arguments.

 

13. Protect the Bond.

The relationship between BTS and ARMY is built on mutual trust. We honor that bond by lifting each other up and acting with kindness.
